Who Can Sponsor Family in the UAE?
The sponsor must be a UAE resident (citizen or residence visa holder):
Sponsoring a Spouse
- Minimum sponsor salary: 4,000 AED/month (or 3,000 AED + employer-provided housing)
- Marriage certificate (notarised Arabic translation)
- Health insurance for spouse is mandatory
Sponsoring Children
- Under 18: no minimum income requirement
- Sons 18–25: only if enrolled in education
- Married daughters: sponsored through their husband only

What If Relatives Just Want to Visit?
Russian citizens don't need a visa for UAE visits of up to 30 days — the Russia-UAE visa-free agreement has been in place since 2023. For longer stays, an online tourist visa (30–90 days) is available.
