Who Can Sponsor Family in the UAE?
The sponsor must be a UAE resident (citizen or residence visa holder):
Sponsoring a Spouse
- Minimum sponsor salary: 4,000 AED/month (or 3,000 AED + employer-provided housing)
- Marriage certificate (notarised Arabic translation)
- Health insurance for spouse is mandatory
Sponsoring Children
- Under 18: no minimum income requirement
- Sons 18–25: only if enrolled in education
- Married daughters: sponsored through their husband only
- Birth certificate required (translated and certified)
Sponsoring Parents
- Minimum sponsor salary: 10,000 AED/month
- For residence only, not work

What If Relatives Just Want to Visit?
